Sightseeing Highlights
There is much to see and do in Dubai although perhaps shopping malls
and beaches are its major attractions. There is no lack of either. The
downtown area has an amazing cluster of modern high rises including the
world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa with an observation platform
for breathtaking views. JumeirahBeach is probably the best known beach
with many International chain hotels offering accommodation. Also worth
seeing is the DubaiMuseum which relates the history and development of
the city. Don’t for a second think there is nothing ancient here – try
the Gold and Spice souks or walk in the old atmospheric neighbourhoods.
On
arrival in Dubai, after checking into your hotel, take an afternoon
drive in a 4WD vehicle for an exciting visit to the heart of the desert
where later you will have dinner in the sand dunes.

Day
2 Must-Do-Dubai City Tour
Today,
you will be picked up from your hotel for your Half Day Dubai city tour. The
tour begins with a stop near The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah for to take in the
breathtaking view of Atlantis, The Palm Hotel before continuing along the beach
for a photo stop of the Burj Al Arab.
Continuing
to the beautiful Blue Mosque, also known as Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab
Mosque inspired by the Ottoman and Andalusian styles. Here you have the
opportunity to walk around admiring the magnificent walls and exteriors
decorated with blue tiles. Next up, its on to Dubai Creek, where you take a
ride in the Abra Water Taxi to the other side of the Creek. Here you will have
the opportunity to explore the Gold and Spice Souks, admiring the varied spices
and jewelry available.
As
you continue your tour, head to Al Khayma Heritage House at Al Fahidi
Historical District you will be welcomed with local tea/coffee to enjoy the
Emirati hospitality. Touring the traditional house, admire the architectural
development of the house from the tent replica at the restaurant to Arish palm
front houses finally to the megastructures while traversing the old Emirati
bedroom with its antiques.
After
a short drive, arrive at the last stop on your tour today - The Burj Khalifa
Observation Deck at the 124th/125th floor. Here you can admire the beautiful
view of the cityscape. After making your way down from the observation deck,
you will be transferred back to your hotel.
